Week beginning 9^th January:

I have created my blog on the web page www.blogger.com. Also I created a Flickr account onwww.flickr.com . These webpages will allow me to present my work easily.

Week beginning 16th January:

I have started to analyse magazine front covers, contents pages and double page spreads from music magazines. When doing this we have also identified the conventions of music magazines this allows me to create a magazine which will not only appeal to the audience but be interesting too.

Week beginning 23rd January:

After analysing several magazine pages last week I am starting to think about the design of my own magazine and how I will create a magazine that will appeal to my target audience. I will present my plans on my blog.

Week beginning 30th January:

After planning the layout and house style of my magazine pages I am now going to focus on the main images that I will use in my magazine. These images will have to be relevant to the magazine and reach out to my target audience. To plan out my images I have sketched several shot plans which will give me a rough idea of how I want my images to look like.

Week beginning 6th February:

After having ideas of the photos I want to take for my magazine I will be experimenting with a basic camera to carry out a preliminary task, this will give me the chance to use Photoshop to edit my photos and will develop my knowledge of using Photoshop. Also it gives me a chance to explore the conventions of music magazines further.

Week beginning 20th February:

I have now got a further knowledge of Photoshop and have finalised my ideas so far for the

magazine. This week I am considering the content of my magazine by creating band names, titles

for articles and features on my contents page. I will be writing my double page spread article next week.

Week beginning 27th February:

This week I began to write my double page spread article. By the end of the week I had finished my

article. I began to construct my double page spread at this stage as I knew it found take a long time

to construct.

Friday 1st March:

Photo shoot with (Front cover model model), location: St Bedes lanchester, estimated time: 1 Hour.

This photo shoot will take place at 11:20; allowing a lot of natural light into the shot.

Photo shoot with Kimberley (contents page and DPS), location: St Bedes Lanchester, estimated

time: 1 Hour. This photo shoot will take place at 2.15pm onwards.

Sunday 4th March

Photo shoot with Erin (insert image), location:My house, estimated time: 1 Hour. This photo shoot will take place on Sunday afternoon, at about 3pm but the time doesn’t particularly matter as long as it is not dark.

Week beginning 5th March:

I completed the taking of my images. Monday the 5^thmarch location :St Bedes lanchester I took the rest of my insert images (using models Paul, Daniel, Arran, Andrew, Shane and Peter) I continued with the construction of my DPS adding in the images and the article, by the end of the week I hope to have finished my spread for the DPS.

Week beginning 12th March:

With the construction of my DPS complete I have now moved on to creating my front cover. But as I have developed skills in Photoshop due to creating my DPS first and carrying out prelim task I think the construction of my front cover will be easier than expected. I intend to have the majority of the page finished by the end of the week.

Week beginning 19th March:

I have completed my front page, and I hope to have my front cover finished by this week.

Week beginning 26th March:

This week I will finish all of my pages and upload the pages before feedback onto my blog, I can then towards the end of the week begin my evaluation and explain my choices for the magazine etc.

Week beginning 2nd April:

Easter holidays (2 weeks). I have been completing my evaluation this week, ensuring I explain my view points and choices for my magazine. I have answered seven questions.

Week beginning 16th April

This week is back to school so I will be going over and checking my evaluation making my own improvements and ensuring I have finished the questions fully and professionally. I will now concentrate finishing my blog completely.

I have ensured that every aspect of my blog is complete to a high standard.
